At first, I was going to return them because of the squeaky sound every time I took a step, but I decided to try them once more before packing them up and the squeak is gone!! I’m not sure what caused that. I love the snug way they fit and support my feet. I have worn Brooks shoes for years and they have always been fabulous!! There is no breaking them in. They fit perfectly from the start!! I do a lot of walking so I need to buy new ones about every 6 months. The price makes them affordable!!
So I have pretty small and narrow feet and I really liked how these are lightweight and overall a good shoe but the padding comes up toward the outside of the outter foot which causes a bit of cramping and discomfort. I think the padding must be naturally curved but it didn’t fit well to my feet which are not wide. The shoe is more light weight than the ghost I had but the insole seemed a bit more comfy in the other shoes. These shoe though kinda catapult you up as you walk which is kinda good.
I recently purchased the Brooks Women's Adrenaline GTS 22 for my daughter, and I must say, these running shoes are a game-changer in every sense. From their supportive design to their energizing performance, they have become my go-to companion for the miles ahead.Pros:Exceptional Support:The Adrenaline GTS 22 lives up to its name, providing unparalleled support that caters to every stride. The holistic support system keeps my feet stable, offering the ideal balance between cushioning and responsiveness.Adaptive Fit:The adaptive fit of these shoes is a standout feature. The 3D Fit Print technology molds the shoe to the contours of my foot, creating a personalized and snug fit. It's like they were tailor-made for my runs.Smooth Transition:The GuideRails technology ensures a smooth and effortless transition from heel to toe. It not only enhances stability but also reduces any excess movement, promoting a more efficient and comfortable running experience.Energetic Cushioning:The DNA LOFT and BioMoGo DNA cushioning combination is a stroke of genius. It provides the perfect blend of softness and responsiveness, absorbing impact while propelling me forward with every step. It's like running on clouds without sacrificing performance.Durable Construction:Brooks has nailed durability with the Adrenaline GTS 22. The shoes withstand the rigors of my regular runs, maintaining their structural integrity even after logging substantial mileage. This durability speaks volumes about the quality of craftsmanship.Cons:Slightly Pricey:While the Adrenaline GTS 22 is an investment in performance, the price point may be a bit steep for some. However, the quality and longevity of these shoes make them well worth the investment for serious runners.Limited Color Options:The available color options might not cater to everyone's preferences. A broader range of color choices would add a touch of personalization to these outstanding running shoes. In conclusion, the Brooks Women's Adrenaline GTS 22 has redefined my running experience. These shoes not only meet but exceed the expectations of a supportive running companion. From the adaptive fit to the energetic cushioning, every feature contributes to an inspiring and comfortable run. If you're serious about your runs and seeking a shoe that can keep up, look no further. The Adrenaline GTS 22 is a testament to Brooks' commitment to innovation and performance. Highly recommended for those who aspire to elevate their running game.
I bought these as a replacement for my previous Brooks that I bought at a local store versus online. These were perfect for me as it's hard to find shoes that actually fit properly on my feet. I have extra wide feet and plantar fasciitis, so most shoes are miserable and tight in the toe box for me. These were a good price and fit exactly as my previous pair. The price was also great on Amazon. My only dislike is that the shoestrings seems a bit short but I can easily replace those with longer if it bothers me too much. Otherwise, I love these shoes and would buy again when the time comes. My last pair lasted three years with walking, running, and even all day wear at times. So comfortable. I would absolutely recommend.
I purchased these to use while walking on my walking pad, and they work great. They're comfortable, lightweight, and breathable. They're also easy to get on and off and quite attractive. The padding makes it feel like you are walking on clouds! They also do not force your foot into the toe box and squish your toes and make them rub, which is wonderful! However, if you have flat feet, you will need to get insoles for these as they do not have quite enough arch support. It's not a huge deal, but just slightly annoying - it's totally worth it for the joy of the 99.9% of the shoe.Overall, these are great for walkers too - they are comfortable, breathable, and attractive.
Love these; i'm so glad they revisited the arch/rail area. I had the GTS 20's, but did not like the 21's at all. They hurt my ankle bone just walking in them. That same area in the 22's fits great, no issues. The color is a little lighter in person, like a fading pale pink, but they get lots of compliments. I'm Brooks for life. The toe box has great room compared to other brands, and fits pretty true to size. I usually wear size 8 or 8.5 US, or EU 39. If I can go by EU size, it's usually spot on compared to US sizes. These have just the right amount of support, but not as much cushion/squish as Ghost or Glycerin.
I have been wearing various Brooks products since 2019. I am a serious walker trying to walk between 5-10 miles per day at least 5x a week. It’s usually takes a month to break them all in. I decide to try the Adrenaline 23 and was most pleasantly surprised. They were immediately super comfortable , needed no breakin in, and I will be purchasing another pair immediately. These were well worth the price and I love the color.
The first time I visited my local athletic shoe store, I was fitted for Brooks. I tried them on and took a test run. The Brooks running sneakers I bought there were $150, which was something I had never done.I had just turned 30 years old and for the first time realized that there are specific shoes designed for specific feet...I did not grow up with luxury custom shoes, so this new experience set me on a path to better health and fitness. The shoes were supportive, comfortable, secure feeling, bouncy, and light. When I took my first walk wearing the new Brooks, I did not actually "feel" the shoes; meaning I could walk, jog, and run without feeling the pressure of my soles hitting the ground, or the sides squeezing my arches with every step, or pain at the end of the day from cheap materials and poor architecture. The women in my family all have wide feet and often suffer from orthopedic problems later in life, do to problems stemming from bunions and spinal misalignment, so walking became "enjoyable"!I am now 200+ lbs, and 5'4". The day I bought my first Brooks was in Spring of 2015. I loved those shoes and wore them for a long time, until they wore down years later. It's been almost 10 years since that first day in my new custom fitting shoes. I have longed to buy another, but could not find a retail store that sold them (anywhere)!Today I received my new pair of Brooks-Wide Adrenaline GTS 22's.Wow! My feet have not been this happy in a very long time.I'm on my feet all day at work and finally found my special shoes!I am sooo happy to have them on my feet right now. ...Time to get active again, and I am really really excited to have the Best Support in the process!Much love to the Brooks Team! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just got my pair of these shoes, recommended by 2 different friends…. I ordered a 9 wide, my usual tennis shoe size now. I have a pair of Ryka tennis shoes in 9 wide that I use for my outdoor 2 mile walks, and they work fine, but I thought I’d give these a try to switch off with. These shoes are VERY NARROW! Even in the WIDE width! The bottom white sole area is VERY wide, but not the top box area of the shoe where your foot slides into! The first thing I checked was the label inside each shoe to see if I had the wrong size - nope, the size I have is correct - 9 W. While I always wear a wide width now, my feet are not that wide - wide width shoes ALWAYS fit. My shoe size used to be 8 1/2, so ordering 9 wide has always worked for me.The ONLY way I could fit my foot into the shoe (and that’s with compression short socks - thinner than athletic socks) was to pull out most of the shoe laces so there is only 4 - 4 1/2 inches of lace available at the end for tying…. Pulling back almost all of the laces allowed the center cross-lace area to be opened up A LOT, all the way back to the bottom. I was able to slide my foot in, but it’s a VERY snug fit! Tightening up the laces slightly (so as not to strangle my feet in the shoe), I am only left with about 4 - 4 1/2 inches to tie at the top - NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH LACE LENGTH!So the main issue with these shoes is with how NARROW they are!I think that someone who wears a 9 narrow shoe could wear my size 9 wide and have enough lace length for tying, because the center lace-up area for them would be much closer together - thus not wasting a lot of lace length there!Leaving the little bit of lace at the ends untied, the shoes seem to be pretty comfortable to wear around the house. I’ll have to wear them this way until I get some new longer laces.By untying one shoe’s lace on one side, I was able to determine that the laces seem to have a total length of 46 inches. Again, this should have been long enough if I didn’t have to waste a lot of lace length to widen the lace-up area!I ordered the Delele 2 pair round wave shape non-slip black laces at the 63 inch length for 9.99This should give me enough lace length to have all the extra lace in the lace up area and still be able to tie the ends, without having a lot of extra length…. And the wave shape will prevent the laces from becoming loose when walking.WHY don’t they make the foot area of the shoe WIDE for size WIDE shoes?
I have tried many running shoes over the last several years. Last year I was using New Balance Supercomp Trainers which were (and still are) SUPER comfy and cushy. However, in December I sprained my ankle. When I started running again, I found I wasn't able to run in the New Balance shoes because the cushioning was too unstable for my healing ankle.I bought this pair of Brooks at a friend's recommendation. On the first run, I honestly loved them. They are definitely not "squishy" like my other running shoes. But they provide just the right amount of support for my healing ankle, while still being extremely comfortable. I will likely still use these even after my ankle has fully healed.
