I love this bootie! I initially bought the bootie in my usual size but it was too big so I returned it and bought one size down. Although it's more fitted, my feet are not squished, at all - there is definitely a lot of room. I wore the bootie without socks, and I prefer it that way. I have plantar fasciitis and there is just enough arch and the heel cushion is great. I bought the gray bootie and it will go with anything, leggings, jeans, etc. Great purchase!
I think the size is spot on. They do run a little narrow, so keep that in mind. If you normally wear a size 9, you may find them small. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 , depending on the shoe, so this fits great for me ! I love the fact that they are waterproof but don't look like a snow boot.
It is soft and comfortable, but it ran about a size big for me. True Ecco craftsmanship. But, returned.
My wife already has the grey pair. She wears these to work and on trips due to their comfort as well as keeping her feet dry in the rain. Great to have a second pair
I really wanted these to work. I like the idea of low profile bootie/sneaker hybrids for a walking commute and the waterproof factor is perfect. However, these are really flat soled with no cushion. Most Danskos are quite firm, but these don't have the classic Dansko rocker motion to compensate for the hard sole. This was particularly painful on the ball of my foot.I tried to make them work with a ridiculous different number of insole configurations, but these booties do not have the vaunted wide Dansko toe box and that limited the ability to use a cushy insole because there was no room left for my forefoot, even after removing the OEM Dansko insole.Unfortunately, they had to go back. They are attractive (for orthopedic shoes), though, and if you don't have sensitive, finicky feet that need the absolute perfect ratio of cushion and support they might work for you.
I bought these for a vacation to Ireland. I have many foot issues (flat feet, prior achilles tendon and bunion surgeries). These were so comfortable that I was able to walk everyday pain free. They could be dressed up or down and are waterproof (although we didn't get much rain, I was ready). I didn't want to take a lot of shoes, so these fit the bill. Honestly, a couple of times I thought I didn't even have shoes on; they were that comfortable.
I purchased these and they ended up being too small. I returned them to only find out that there was a 50% restock fee! The shoes were $120 and I only got back $60! Absolute rip off! Do not buy from this vendor!
Great fit and comfortable.Waterproof and style. No c/is these boots are a great purchase
I wear Dansko shoes due to plantar fascias. The do not have the usual Dansko arch support. I missed the return date so will have to add arch cookies or inserts.
Very good looking, will keep even though they are snug. Orderd my usual size. Will break them in with heavy socks to stretch.
